You have to have a very high IQ to understand The Boys. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of political philosophy most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head.
I don't think I'd enjoy The Boys. Seems like a bunch of crude and vulgar humour, and the whole premise seems to be "superheros if they were bad".
I might be wrong, though. Never taken the time to learn anything more about it.
