@VD15 @lain @mischievoustomato I believe you, I still haven't gotten to a first planet. I have a platform that can go reliably only one way.
@matrix @lain @mischievoustomato I've got the planets in the inner solar system so far. Still need to get to the ice planet, but I want to make a much beefier platform with quality gear first. Mine keep taking occasional hits and likely wouldn't survive a trip that far out.
Making platforms is much easier once you get to either fulgora or vulcanis. You basically just fish infinite materials out of the ground.

@VD15 @lain @mischievoustomato Yeah, they're pretty expensive. I just need to fit a 3rd smelter onto mine so that it can consistently feed the ammo crafter with plates.
I'm planning to go to Fulgora first. Seems like the easiest one.
