@matrix I really dislike the ban on cousin marriage, it really was a ploy to weaken family's cohesion by forcing you to marry strangers and outbreed. Despicable.
@zatrsakr @matrix church law prohibits incest based on degree of relationship up to and including the fourth degree so first cousin marriage is prohibited but second cousins are free game. Civil law over here in PL on the other hand prohibits only lineal incest so you could marry any cousin... for the very low price of being damned. It's a tragic situation.
