@matrix Watch them suddenly turn around and complain about the data scraping and plagarism they helped normalize
@VD15 Scraping data and training AI on them is fair use imo, however I would maybe argue distillation is fair use too, especially since they didn't just do a basic distillation
@matrix Oh, I agree, I'm not opposed to those practices, but I also have a feeling that these companies only care about copyright when it's convenient to them
