I posted this article yesterday, and I'm posting it again because #Grokipedia annoys me that much. The author has no doubt Grokipedia will fail, but I do. I guess it depends on how you define "failure". Wikipedia's other "competitors" had limited resources, and eventually disappeared. Grokipedia can suck perpetually and Musk will just keep funding it because he has cash to waste and he's a spiteful toddler. I have little doubt it'll be looked to for "truth" by some.
@mike Those critiques are absolute correct, however the simple fact is that Wikipedia has multiple extremely low hanging fruits that aren't allowed to be picked simply due to bias and nothing else.
The desire for Grokipedia would have been much weaker, or satisfied by Conservapedia lol, if Wikipedia had stepped in and addressed the inability to correct errors or omissions in various high profile articles.
