The problem with mass transit is that under like 300km, even a well built network, will always be slower and less convenient than a car unless you purposely cripple or underbuild your road network.
@KaiserKitty @kaia @mangeurdenuage @hakui No. The US is a bit of a extreme case where simply way too many people drive and in general you design your infrastructure in a very retarded ways, but that doesn't sound much longer than here. In a morning rush hour 13km takes about 30-40min by car, 15min without traffic. Mass transit takes 45min either way simply because it doesn't go p2p and I have to transfer.
