China has delivery drivers with PhDs, India jobless engineers. SEA has to a lesser extent similar issues too. No surprise their birthrates are tanking.
Any regime with a sense of self preservation wants to get rid of these people, as they pose a threat to the ruling class, and the west is the perfect place for that as it has a better functioning economy that can absorb them and a declining working population. The west accepts them because to some extent it genuinely needs them and mainly because it has lost its self preservation instinct.
@matrix there's not enough high end jobs in China, even got worse after COVID lockdown fucked up people's faith for future. most jobs are shit jobs, so students are usually forced to get Master degree or higher after college, for more competitive or just to delay the inevitable unemployment. but there is not enough high end jobs in the first place, so here we are, PhDs who drives taxi, Masters delivering lunch. and I'm pretty sure CCP gov doesn't want any one to work or live outside of country as in their plan, normal people are merely their assets to do low end production jobs at minimum wage and sell overseas to earn more USD for them, so they can have more USD and we can live in a controlled poverty.

No, the west accepts them because our politicians are bought and paid for. Literally nobody here asked for this.
