I bought a new wristwatch. This is the Casio AQ230. I wanted an ana-digi, and this is one of the few models available that wouldn't look oversized on my bitch wrists AND has a restrained classic appearance.
The LCD module has a standard set of digital watch functions (i.e. equivalent to the F91W) plus dual time, so there's plenty of stuff while still keeping the restrained appearance.
Instead of a crown, the analog part uses a recessed button to set the time. Hold it to advance the hands forward (never back). The idea is to ensure the minute hand is tied to the digital module and always advances exactly on 00", 20" and 40". I can see the logic, but a way to set the time quicker would've been nice. The button's hard to press, too.
Overall, though, this is a good watch and I recommend it if you like inexpensive stylish ana-digi watches.
