Writing a new post. Not a whole lot to report. Still alive.
Got a new gadget recently: an Anbernic RG28XX, one of those inexpensive emulation handhelds. My handheld PC is a bit too big and heavy to put in a pocket, so having a smaller handheld is convenient when I don't have a bag.
Recent anime: Precure, Precure, Precure, and also Sailor Moon. I like magical girls.
Recent games: Mahjong Soul, old Famicom mahjong games, some good "pick up and play" games like Battle City and Crazy Taxi. I've also started an Ocarina of Time playthrough. Maybe this time I'll finally see it to the end.
I haven't written anything in here recently, have I?
Went on a vacation to Gotland last week. Really nice island with a lot of history.
I'm working on thinning the great anime backlog of doom. Some relatively new stuff like Spy x Family, some old-school stuff like Akazukin Chacha.
Multiplayer gaming these days is mainly Mahjong Soul and Anime Music Quiz (the latter also motivates me to work on the aforementioned backlog). I'd like to play more multiplayer action games, but right now I'm stuck on a shitty mobile connection...
Oh, right. I'm watching anime for the first time in I don't know how long. Getting this machine was the nudge I needed to start watching anime again.
Wataten is fun.
I've had my GPD Win Mini 2024 for one week now. Installed Artix Linux straight away, with LXQT. Wanted to try something on the qt side of the fence for once.
Watching anime works great. Playing games works great. Web browsing will start working great the second I figure out how to unfuck KDE Wallet.
Haven't figured out how to turn on the low-power mode yet.
TPHD next, probably. I actually haven't beaten any version of Twilight Princess yet. Usually end up losing my momentum and quitting in Zelda games...
I was looking through my Amazon Japan purchase history.
In November 2014, almost a full decade ago, I bought some reusable plastic chopsticks. The brand is apparently called "Hasekin".
Anyway, these things LAST. The most damage that's happened in a little over 9 years of use is the tip of one chopstick (out of 20) breaking off.
These are good fucking plastic chopsticks. Five stars.
