Anyone else watch that time Bryan Lunduke attempted to install Stage 1 Gentoo on an intel atom netbook from source using nothing but a google search and explicitly avoiding the Gentoo Handbook, then gave up at the end because he did it wrong and blamed the distro for being too hard?

Or the time he used ZSNES to film games for nostalgia videos, and ActRaiser made it crash?

He's still the best linux broadcaster. Plus, he's the kinda guy who will stuff motza in his face while making holocaust jokes about his own tribe.

I don't know if this means we need better linux-based broadcasters, or if this is a compliment to Lunduke.

I have never attempted Gentoo specifically because it's hard. I don't fault the distro for that, plenty of distros cater to people wanting ease of use. Gentoo gives it's users what they want which means they're doing their job.

@publiclewdness Calculate Linux is your friend. Once you're in an install (less than 15 minutes), tweaking things like useflags becomes a small task rather than a herculean chore, and you can drastically customize things from there.

And it's literally just gentoo with extra (binary) repositories.
