Which open-source messaging apps would you try if more people used them?

I am comfortable with Nheko (Matrix) Dino (XMPP) and Session. I don't wait for others to dictate my choices for me. The likes of Whatsapp; Telegram; Facebook; etc will never touch my devices regardless of who uses them.
