I've had nothing but hassles when using Element. No matter the features i'll stick with Nheko or Fluffy Chat for my Matrix needs.
@publiclewdness When Nheko does E2EE, I'll switch. Not a moment sooner.

Nheko was the first Matrix client outside of Element that did E2E that I found. It's a toggle in the options menu.
