Tech Support Reality: Apple vs Microsoft

Apple: Not very bright phone support. American Employees which is nice for a change. Unprofessional. Does not call or follow up.

Microsoft: Very intelligent and friendly Indians that get the job done 24/7

I worked as Apple tech support for fourteen months years ago. For every tech saavy person we had were five people who knew nothing and whose previous experience were fast food or coffee shops. Nobody smart enough to have options stayed long. That being said if you ever have to call tech support you're screwed regardless of brand. Microsoft only ever wanted to format my system and finding their toll free number online was a good recipe to get scammed.

Oh wow. The Apple Store "Geniuses" are better than the Phone support it seems. For Microsoft, they were helpful in me installing win10 and upgrading to win11 from Linux. For support you are better off going on their website I guess
