I purchased an Arc 770 earlier this year and ended up returning it. At the time it not only didn't work on Trisquel at all (wouldn't even boot into the installer) but ran my games worse than my RX 590 did on the normal Linux kernel. Maybe it's improved, I don't know. best of luck regardless and let us know how it works for you if you do get it.
