The more I learn about the EU the more terrified I get.
It seems about as ill-intentioned as the Canadian government, with the same "velvet glove / iron fist" dynamic but actually has the competence to carry out their objectives.

Some just operate effectively under un-intuitive goals/objectives/incentives, but if you define competent as "is not a net-harm on the citizens" then I'd agree with you.
