Ok, after playing all the way through the OG Crysis, the first Far Cry was better. Crysis was still better than Far Cry 2, but the og Far Cry was still much better. It's a shame really, as the first half was like Far Cry 2.0, but it really lost it in the second half. I like Crysis the best until the aliens show up just like I loved Far Cry until the monsters show up. I liked the story to Far Cry 2 the most out of the bunch and it had great exploration. Overall i'd take any of the three over the trash being pumped out these days.
@publiclewdness Yeah, that's fair. I think I like Far Cry more because it kind of "returns to form" periodically after the monsters are introduced, where as Crysis is just all aliens once they're properly introduced. I don't know why I never really got into Far Cry 2.
But I'd agree with picking any of them over new shit.
