Switched to Linux in 2015 myself.
@publiclewdness @linuxiac almost 10 years! Have you found that you’ve had to compromise anywhere to make it work?
Not really. The only downside has been going down the rabbit hole about stuff like the Intel ME, AMD PSP, and how much firmware is closed source. It makes me realize the comprises I make already just running a system that isn't fifteen years old. On the bright side I have discoverd things like CoreBoot, RISC-V, the Libre kernel, and others that help give me better options.
