Here are my (highly controversial) impressions.

These days, I'll be honest, I think Lunduke has gone off the deep (crazy) end. _But_ a lot of the people who go after him are as well. They're all in good company, I should think.

I'm sure there are a lot of very good people working on Wayland, but from the outside, the project has always come off as self righteous jerks. So it's little wonder they attract all the self righteous jerks from all the other projects as well.
