People of Mastodon, if you are not from India - how is your country's media covering the covid-19 crisis? Is your media indulging in blaming any particular community?
In India's case - the media is going on an overdrive to blame Muslims, with the usual China-bashing. The latter is being used to target North-East Indians, who have similar racial features.

The left-wing channels, websites, and newspapers (#CNN, #MSNBC, The Washington Post, New York Times, #Buzzfeed, etc.) are very, very, pessimistic and negative, blaming #Trump for any deaths in the #USA and often claiming that he's doing worse than any other nations. the conservative media (notably #FoxNews and the New York Post) are highly optimistic and opting to focus on the miserable failings of the Chinese government and promising scientific research in finding a quality #Coronavirus treatment.
I haven't seen many racist messages, save a few from the left, claiming doctors/the health care system in the #USA are racist, preferring to care for white patients over others.
I have heard some people on the #Fediverse attacking nations with open-border policies for letting in Muslims with very few questions asked, even during the #Coronavirus, but this complaint seems valid, if those nations are indeed conducting a double-standard for their sake.
"China-bashing" is a very reasonable response, so long as it's targeted at the cruel and inept government who gave us this mess, not the Chinese people in the nation suffering.
