Okay I'm tryin but 's making very big government, non-conservative points in her Bold And Blunt episode "Raising Godly Kids in Secular Times".

She blames the legalization of drugs for drug use in teens

At least she's not blaming the government for teen sex too

Also that was strange, she bemoaned teen pregnancies but not abortion, which is far worse 🙄

Furthermore, she's saying "if your teens are around teens in gangs, they'll join the gangs too", somewhat underestimating her listeners' ability to parent

Also, didn't she say parents should teach kids that drugs are bad? Drugs aren't bad, drug abuse is what's bad.

Saying drugs are bad is like saying guns are bad.

Yeah, they're dangerous, but when used properly are just fine.

But this is a reminder, not only is the left not the only home to authoritarianism, it's not just nazis on the right who are authoritarian; a lot of Christian moms like these are as well.

Perhaps a lot of it stems from general principles of controlling behavior, that can be found in the Church

As a Christian myself, the fact that these concepts have such traction in my community (this podcast is paid for by the Washington Times) is quite troubling.

Have they learned nothing from how government overreach has been used to encroach on their own freedom??
