Quite true. We're the social media version of the island for misfit toys, so naturally things work differently here

True, fedi though is still better generally for the fact that it better replicates a normal social setting, and does not incorporate censorship so it allows contact of ideas unlike say twitter

@Meeper @realcaseyrollins Yeah, I woke up in the morning with about 250 notifications or so thinking it was a normal hellthread. Turns out that it was a hellthread that started because someone got triggered that I had a neckbeard account.

Then a bunch of people pointed out how dumb of a reason it was, therefore getting their whole instance blocked too. (It was like 8 or so instances that were blocked from it)

I mean, I kind of expected to get blocked because of something edgy or if I ever posted loli, but like... I didnt post anything like that on my server yet. So I found it really ironic for that reason.

@Meeper @realcaseyrollins I have not seen any drama on fedi that was a legitimate argument. If they are arguing about something legitimate, it does mot cause drama typically.

Me and I think Gleason have gotten into a bit of drama over our views on Trans issues.

I remember one time I was in a 50-hour-long thread with an admin of mine no less, about whether or not I was a bigot for believing that sex is determined by chromosomes
