I am not american so I had presumed that martial law can only be passed under congressional approval, (though this seems to have only become active after 2007 under the national defence autharization act but that seemed to have been repealed in 2008)
Yet even then under the Posse Comitatus Act the military’s power in such a condition is limited and would not resemble actual martial law, it seems to be enacted for just the purpose that the federal government can go on abusing federal forces on a domestic setting.
The immigration stuff, the wall? Idk if he even has an idea?

Idk, much about all of trumps nonsense blabbering, but the stuff like that kinda push the notion of his prepective to be one that wants an ‘american only state’ at all costs push that along some lines and with other stupid anecdotes and it kind puts that perspective into view. This is a stretch tho
