Tough things is, current usage of the phrase are making a valid point. People are literally giving all they money, including life savings, to some random skin streamer on #Twitch for literally no reason.

Part of me wonders if this was a plan to actually eventually attack heteronornativity, since the word thirsty already applied and there was no need for a new phrase. Particularly because of how heterocentric its use is.
