@death @dude @Ox @realcaseyrollins I agree totally, and there were definitely elements that wanted this. This only leads to further authoritarianism. It's a platform for those on the fake right to show liberals/fake-left/blacks are all the hateful stereotypes they have been claiming. Rioting provides them the weapon for their enemies to stab them with.
@djsumdog it becoming obvious the past couple of weeks that the powers that be welcome the chaos. Civil unrest presents a much easier issue for people to understand than something like an invisible virus. This provides for easy visual imagery to push the public to accept reactionary policies fueled by emotion. @death @Ox @realcaseyrollins

@realcaseyrollins IDK, frankly that's not something I care to speculate on atm. To consider the impact we'd have to look at it through whatever time it takes for the community to recover or the virus to no longer an issue. @Ox @djsumdog @death
