Like, the only reason anyone ever heard of it was that Torba went on a private YC networking board one day and started yelling "YOU SHOULD ALL BE DEPORTED BUILD THE WALL" in random threads because he knew it would get him kicked and then he could get into a bunch of press pieces and say "I was banned for my politics! This is Silicon Valley in year of our Lord $current_year!" That story had legs, but the response ("No, we kicked him for flames and insults, this is a board for YC alums to make business connections.") didn't have any sizzle and wouldn't get much play.

@realcaseyrollins @Locksmith @Lainyboy I asked several times, like, "Instead of wasting time and money moving while getting kicked off of everything, why don't you just buy some boxes and rack them up at a colo?" No answer. Eventually I got an indirect answer from
