The politics of fediverse
It’s been there a while, but I want to depict those piece of shits now.
You know what, being a crazy mental is very easy to survive nowadays. And you can get tons of friends for it, let me teach you how to do it.

Use the 15 USD to build a fediverse instance.
Keeping to post all mental stuff in your mind, then you going to get a brunch of mental friends.
After you have a group of mentals, you can be going to do a lot of things.
(I think the most common type on here is bipolar, it don’t affect too much of intelligent thus can build an instance and understand what is instances, and easy to feel “triggered”)
Try to use the interpersonal relationships of mentals to blackmail owners of other instances, let them do what you want to do as gangs
The group of instance owners most care about the idea of free communication and against big industry suffer most for this.
This is the last thing they can do to harm the society.
So, what can we deal with these bipolar people? As a user, if anyone said something impolite to you, you can just block them. These bipolar people want social influence, blocking them is going to drive them totally mad inside, you can tell them “block you” before the blocking. Fediverse is their last choice to react with people. Let them know the result of they dare to be a piece of shit.
I am not afraid people going to block me or I am going to block people, everyone knows there are many mentals on fediverse, block more than 10 per day is normal for me. This is how freedom of speech works on the Internet, there must be so much name-calling content and the people you dislike, just blocking. They will be looking for other victims.
If you are an instance admin, I think ActivityPub should build a page for bad reputation instances record, the record of instance blocking each other’s anyone owners can know which instance often blocking other instances without a proper reason. That should work. Never obey them if they want to change your original ideal for building an instance. Otherwise, they would just become more fearless. And mentals would just become crazier since their whole instance with full of dramas, they chose it, they deserve it.
@Snow @mewmew I like the sentiment, but disagree with the suggestion. I'm a HUGE fan of open dialogue; I never block anymore, only mute. (You also don't lose followers that way haha)
Also I strongly disagree with making some sort of "bad actor" registry. That's the biggest form of #cancelculture. This is the Fedi, not the #SouthernPovertyLawCenter. (My biggest worry with this aside with cancel culture is, as is the case with the #SPLC, abuse.)

In that "reputation" page, it's let people to know which instance blocked which one, I think people have rights to knowing this kind of information before they sign up a instance.
