No they don't. You are the person that you be. Your character matters more than your skin color or private parts.

Your existence depends on your surroundings, not just internals like behaviour and ideals.
In the end, external systems with impose benefits and drawbacks on you because you will be tagged, or labelled.
This is because humans have an inbuilt need to classify and rank things, and that permeates the systems they build.
