Pretty shocked Andrew actually pulled the trigger on the CTO position. Fosco is a good choice. He probably should have done this 6 months ago, but whatever.

@alex IMHO #Gab needs to either rejoin the #Fediverse or have another prominent user (although pls not one that shoots people dead next time). Sure they can get a good CTO if they want but they're still irrelevant and I don't see that changing. Anyone who was going to join #Gab has probably already joined. I don't see them getting another source of users to propagate user growth without federation, or good advertising. Doesn't look like they're interested in either tho
