More and more people unironically tell me to just use AI for my art struggles. lol
The AI actually won't help me because the problem is my OCD and ADHD, which prevent me from completing anything in a reasonable amount of time. if the AI spits something out, I still have to retouch it, plus match the style, and that's where I get hung up. In the details. So for my case, it's actually worthless. I don't think the AI can do my cartoony style well. For my chibi style, I need to be able to have control of it.
After I improve my art a little more, I saw one of my favorite artists, Zankuro, use Image2Image AI to help him refine rough sketches of his a little more, so I might be interested in that but I'm not at that point yet. After he gets the rough sketch, he does all the other manual work. My style takes inspiration from Zankuro and even his more chibi and flat coloring style gets butchered by the AI forcing that "blurry" look onto it. He posts experiments he's doing with the AI as well as some funny shit posts with AI. https://twitter.com/KXII/status/1624293806802890752?t=7AmouOyIC_9UwhnkE0tVhQ&s=19
The thing is, I enjoy the creation process even if it's very slow for me due to my retarded brain. When I'm able to create the idea with my hands, I conquered my crippling issues even if for just a little while.
