@pj There have been some deaths that they will not attribute to this vaccine … the doctor who’s platelets dropped to zero for two weeks before he bled to death internally; the woman under 40 in Utah who’s liver failed.
I think millions will get this shot and be fine through, but I still think there is no evidence in the trails they’ve released to show it’s even the least bit effective. It certainly doesn’t help old people who are dying of COVID (and would they have died had they not gotten the vaccine? Who knows. We’re not doing controlled studies with placebos. There were never any challenge trials because that would be unethical; as if rushing a vaccine to market in 8 months wasn’t unethical to being with).
I think the bigger consequences will be long term. They skipped all the long term reproductive studies. What if we get into a real life Children of Men situation? One doctor already miscarried because of her hubris, injected herself with a vaccine that is not recommended for pregnant women.
@djsumdog @pj@bitcoinhackers.org I think the long term goal is to eventually get rid of human reproduction entirely and replace it with artificial wombs. The mass sterilization along with this "Great Reset" that the WEF makes me think that the global elites want to restructure the human population to be more like an ant colony. Granted, we are decades off from this being a reality, but I don't doubt that the global elites have this in mind.
@djsumdog @pj@bitcoinhackers.org I actually never read Brave New World. I was thinking more like The Giver which I heard was more like Brave New World for kids. I keep on hearing that we are becoming more like Brave New World than 1984 which makes me more concern.
At least more and more people are waking up to this. They realize that voting is not the answer, but either through grassroots activism like counter-economics or secession. There is hope.
@xianc78 @pj I’ve read both Huxley and Orwell. It’s always a little bit of both. If you’ve played Final Fantasy VII (the original) the President of Shinra’s son said he wasn’t going to rule like his father … his father used money to calm the people, but he intended to just use fear. Fictional stories show us the potential extremes, but reality is somewhere in the center.

The UK left the EU. Poland’s leaders stand strongly in the anti-refugee stance. In the US, blue states have ignored federal laws for years with legalized marijuana. With as weak as Biden is, I think we’ll see red states just openly defy his executive orders. Things will come to a head if and when State legislatures start ignoring federal laws (especially around guns and shutdowns) or State courts rule against SCOTUS.
We have to hope the divorce will be peaceful. Right now a lot of people still believe in 🇺🇸 . There is no real meaningful separatist movement yet. I wouldn’t think there ever would be one, but just look at the current media and federal leadership. There is none of either.
