@mrsaturday @xianc78 I believe a lot of what he did was to protect those children by showing that many of them were high-functioning and talented.

@ArdanianRight @mrsaturday I'm not talking about the ones who are brainwashed, but rather about the ones who just want to devote their lives to beating a video game without pressing a certain button or drawing fan-art.
@xianc78 @mrsaturday I mean that's more of a function of a society that exists to distract people from higher purposes as opposed to encouraging people to embrace them.
