@xianc78 @Ricotta I grew up with this Bill Gates. He was an evil, ruthless yet cringe, nerdy asshat of a business man that crushed everyone he could, with few morals or ethics.
I don’t understand why the entire tech community and general population are jizzing over this guy like he’s some kind of St. Teresa, when he’s really a mascot for a multi-billion dollar health and pharma industry.
@djsumdog @Ricotta I'm no expert on the history of Microsoft, but from what I've heard Paul Allen was probably more involved than Bill Gates and Bill just took all the credit. It's just another Steve Jobs/Steve Wozniak situation.
I wasn't even born yet at the time but I was told that had Commodore adopted the same business model as IBM/Microsoft (license their Amiga OS and architecture to other computer manufacturers), Microsoft would probably have never become a monopoly.
Could be that Bill is running a long con and is actually /our guy/ and intends to use his foundation to exterminate the poor minorities and easily influenced.
