@ChristiJunior@neckbeard.xyz @ArdanianRight @comfy I never understood many of these "lockdown games". Among Us seems to just be a video game adaptation of the board game Clue. Ring Fit Adventure is more gimmicky than an exercise game needs to be. New Horizons makes a little sense because it gives you the feeling of not being inside all day, but literally everyone I knew disobeyed the lockdowns to some extent (visiting friends, running "extra" errands, going to the park, picking up fast-food, etc).

@xianc78 @ChristiJunior @ArdanianRight ACNH was THE lockdown game just because of the timing. While Animal Crossing is hella mainstream now it would NEVER have gotten to where it is now if it hadn't come out the WEEK of the start of most lockdowns worldwide. As for funny sus space game that one I think woulda blew up regardless because it got big as a result of Twitch and not because of the situation
