I used to follow a ton of people that I disagreed with most stuff on, but over time it felt like some of those people became really hostile and I quit following them.
@Moon I feel like aggressive politics posters is a trait of a Twitter refugee where the culture and algo promotes it. Everything is a tribal battle, everything is a performance, no one is an individual.

@Moon it makes you wonder if removing likes would be a benefit. At least they don't influence anything like they do on leddit or tweetard.

@crunklord420 @Moon At least we don't have karma or gold. I even remember some sites experimented with rewarding crypto for "quality posts" and it was a disaster.
@xianc78 @Moon you mean Steem where all the top posts were thots holding signs saying how much they love Steem?
@crunklord420 @Moon Voat had something similar. Top posts would share ad revenue. It was nothing more than to incentivize more users.
