Americans, by which I mean mutts, mart sharters and americlaps, have degenerated to a point that they covet consumer goods that are deliberately designed to appear old, damaged and of low quality. "Distressed" jeans, "rustic" design, "boxed" water. You name it, the American (by which I mean the 56% mutt) has designed and successfully sold a "rustic" version of it for massive profits, for no other reasons other than its aesthetic resemblance of something you pulled out of the landfill.
