@Terry @colonelj I've lived out of hostels for 11 months. It was a big backpacking adventure though, and I'm certainly glad to be back in a normal duplex now. POD looks like it could be comf and encourage minimalism, but I'm sure it would wear off after a while.

Also the last photo looks like it might just been pods for naps and not for living. I've heard those are common for the work-a-holics in Japan.
