I think the word "heterosexual" is fine. "Hetero" is the opposite root of "homo". "Cis" is the opposite root of "trans". It comes from the Latin root meaning "on the side of".
@xianc78 @ChristiJunior @ragnaroek @hourmutt the reason it is not fine is because it subtly equates the two. The proper opposite term for homosexual is not "heterosexual" it is "normal". Using the term "heterosexual" normalizes homosexuality.

The most obvious example is the shoehorning of the suffix "phobia" into just about everything they want to push through, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, xenophobia etc. By doing this, people who stand against the against things such as the deluge of foreigners being let into ones country, or the encouragement of children to begin undergoing the gender transitioning as young age and what not can be depicted as nothing but irrational bygones. The way language is structured and designed inevitably influences how the brain initially processes it, so don't talk like a fag

Doesn't matter. We need a special term for non-trannies about as much as we need a special term for non-midgets. And nothing good comes from normalizing tranny insanity.
