@guizzy @coolboymew I'm not getting it and the whole you have to take it or you will be excluded from attending events is total coercion. I guess it's a good thing the pandemic has turned me into a misanthrope and I don't feel compelled to really go to anything anymore.

@ooignignoktoo @guizzy @coolboymew I don't care about conventions, sports games, or any crowded events. I'm just afraid that with the delta variant, they are going to impose more restrictions. My college said that they are not going to have a vaccine requirement (thank God), but I don't know if that's going to last long.
Also, doesn't help that my parents are pressuring me to get the jab. Even my conservative Dad who is skeptical about this whole scamdemic says that I should get it. All because we recently, unexpectedly lost a family member from cancer (no sign of COVID at all) and my Mom's worried about losing another one even though I pose no risk of dying from it at all.

Most of the people pushing for it are boomers because they now have yet another thing they'll croak from aside from heart attacks, cancer, and strokes.
