(in all fairness there's no way to know sputnik is safe yet either, it's a gamble either way, but judging by the results and the fact it's an actual vaccine instead of that mrna/graphene oxide witches' brew pfizer is pissing out, sputnik is certainly the safer bet)

@velartrill It uses the same technology as J&J which is to use a virus (unrelated to SARS-CoV2) to deliver the spike protein DNA to your cells. It's already used in ebola vaccines but it's still experimental.
The closest we have to an actual vaccine is Novavax which uses moth cells that are modified to have the spike protein instead of modifying your own.
