If you don't watch porn, what is your reason behind it?

@xianc78 I think most people are whatever normal is, even if the louder people have distorted our perception. I was curious if you would describe yourself as asexual or not. What is it like having no interest in sex but then knowing a lot of other people take an interest in it?
@sim I just have no interest in it. I'm not really into romantic relationships either. It doesn't bother me that people are interested in it (we need it to reproduce obviously). I do feel like our society is too obsessed with it (prevalence of porn, casual sex, etc.), but it doesn't really bother me.
@xianc78 That's interesting. I suppose it helps that it doesn't bother you. Sometimes I do feel like society is too obsessed too, and I don't know what to make of it.
@sim I think it's unhealthy, but when you think about it, we are evolved to breed like rabbits. Before the industrial revolution, it was expected that many children wouldn't reach adulthood so people had much more children back then. But now that people have fewer children, people still need to blow off steam, so they gravitate to porn.
@xianc78 Yeah. But then our lives are different now compared to back then so I'm sure that plays a role here. Everything gets pushed back further. We are allowed to mess around rather than settling down sooner. Starting relationships later in life means less chance to have a large family. The economy situation doesn't help.
