@ArdanianRight I don't think it's just ancaps. I also think that they want to associate defunding the police (which is not a leftist idea) with anarcho-communism and antifa. There are reasons to hate the police even from a right-wing perspective. They just want to taint it and make it associated with a bunch of cringey LibLeft freaks.

@xianc78 Defunding the police just means more inner-city blacks shoot each other and there's more George Zimmermanns policing the suburbs. If it hurts the regime I don't necessarily mind, but it's not sound policy even if cops suck.

@ArdanianRight Maybe, I should've said "police reform". One thing that needs to go is "disorderly conduct" which is so vague that you can basically be arrested for anything.
