Fucking copyright, why aren't basically all silent movies on things like archive.org

@lanodan Aren't they all public domain now? Plus, I think ~90% are lost to time regardless.

@xianc78 There is things like INA and Cinémathèque Française that are dedicated to restoration and archival.
They do a pretty good job but INA is basically Netflix and Cinémathèque Française is the typical french public service which shouldn't have copyrights other than public domain or a libre content license but end up being quite restrictive.
