I'm seeing a lot more of this "they're going to make you eat bugs" stuff and from more normie-sh accounts, but I hate to tell everyone, that's not happening.

In order to get everyone to eat cricket burgers, they need thousands of cricket farms, and you can't just throw crickets in chicken farms, or on beef ranches.

In the middle of a global shortage, they *cant* do that.

On the negative side, they can just decide to make everyone starve.

@sickburnbro It's not just bugs, you also got plant-based "meat" and 3D-printed "meat".

@xianc78 indeed, but as energy costs skyrocket the soymeat is going to dissapear because two main factors
1) it's not popular and being subsidized, and as things get tight those bankrolling it are going to balk
2) the fixed costs are going to eat them alive ( all that processing takes ingredients that were expected to be cheap, but are likely going to have severe distortions with shortages )
