@smithy no, it's a repost. I'll probably say it if it was me (and I'm not named Brandon)
@coolboymew I've been seeing lots of posts like these around - I wonder if it's actually indicative of how meaning people are quitting their jobs or if it's just another internet meme-ish fad
@smithy @coolboymew While the part of the economy that's still getting shit done is going full flexible and effectively getting closer together, shit like this isn't the leadership that's going to achieve anything but drive people away. I don't get it, really don't.

Note that you shouldn't mistreat people this way in general, of course, and yeah in a good economy you might even end up getting away with it. Undeservingly so.
@mar77i @coolboymew

yeah, i just think this goes to show how much more relative bargaining power employers had the past few years (maybe decades?).

The weird thing is, I don't know how much of this change in the dynamic stems from "concrete" economic changes (e.g. workers are more flush with cash than before due to the PUA & other bailouts), & how much it has to do with a change in subjective valuation (e.g. people got more time off to be with family during covid, see their kids, etc. & realized they could with less money, because they had nothing to spend money on, etc.)
@smithy @mar77i Yeah, these can most definitively be fake. However there is indeed some walkout going on. Lots of people aren't willing to work these crappy low wage/high work jobs anymore it seems. The COVID time off seems to have made people realize that somehow
@coolboymew @smithy @mar77i Hell people with even good high paying jobs are willing to throw them out over Covid shot mandates. The virus may be real but the shot was nothing more than a vehicle of control to divide and conquer. It's just a shame people keep thinking they'll get their normal back from the same people who took it from them and time and time again moved the goalposts.

@ooignignoktoo @mar77i @coolboymew @smithy I don't know why everyone thinks they are going back to normal when the global elites are pushing this Great Reset shit.

Exactly they say they want to "build back better" that slogan implies they want to destroy the status quo we enjoyed to create their own vision of their neurotic "utopia".
@ooignignoktoo @xianc78 @coolboymew @mar77i @smithy new world order, 4th industrial revolution, the age of aquarius, etc
@ooignignoktoo @coolboymew @mar77i @smithy @xianc78 I think their days are numbered, but a toppling could be part of their greater plan
