Mark my words. Once (or if) this COVID hysteria dies down. We will go back to the climate hysteria and next thing you know, we will also have vasectomy and hysterectomy passports to "fight overpopulation".
@xianc78 I don't know about the population control passport but we do seem to jump from hysteria to hysteria these days.

@GreenZeta Okay it might not be that. But a lot of these COVID restrictions will be retooled to "fight climate change". People are already suggesting climate lockdowns.
@GreenZeta Well we are reaching a grand-solar minimum, so it is expected to get colder in the coming decades, but I bet the mainstream will blame that on the COVID lockdowns reducing CO2 emissions.
@xianc78 I'm a little more optimistic on the climate change front. I was in the same camp as Gretta Thungerg back in the early 90s. Global warming isn't immediately happening and most people are lazy, so they wait... and then nothing happens, so they realize it's bullshit. I get a strong feeling that, generally, people are just paying lip service to it.
