Oh. And Bill Gates having digs that Mao and Stalin can only dream of is just a bonus. And Bill Gates doesn't have an easy way to have you put against the wall and shot on top of that.

Corruption is part of being human and will happen in all systems. Capitalism just gives people more money to play around honestly or dishonestly.
Besides, let's be fair, Billy G going to the UN and bribing them for some reason is better than Stalin forcing everyone to apply Lysenkoism in the collective farms.

@nerdman He's actually pretty dissatisfied with the UN and he has openly said that it needs to be replaced with an actual world government.
He's just using the same tactic the Rockefellers used which is to bribe governments in the name of philanthropy. Which results in more restricted markets and an increase of global cooperation.
@nerdman Really all he needs to do is fund a much bigger global crisis than COVID. It seems like every global crisis creates a bigger call for more globalization.

Fortunately he's not rich enough. I mean. I read that if you actually sold all the US billionaires property at the stated value you wouldn't have enough money to cover 1 year's GDP.
Even Bill Gates is pretty inconsequential in the big picture.
