The blogosphere has mostly disappeared. It's difficult to search for recent blog posts on anything. The top page for any current event on both Duck Duck Throw and Fooble are all major news sites.

@coolboymew @djsumdog Medium seems to be the place to host blogs now and it's even worse than Tumblr. At least Tumblr has custom HTML/CSS.

@coolboymew @djsumdog It was created to be Twitter but for blog style posts. But while it doesn't have any customization, it's actually designed for professional style blogs unlike Tumblr.
@xianc78 @djsumdog my problem with tumble is that a social media blog doesn't really work, it's not really a blog anymore, it's just a shittier less convenient twitter. It's not ALL bad, it has some interesting function if you really want to use it as a blog, but yeah
