@xianc78 json would not be the worst thing tbh. html parsing is needlessly complex and w3c basically abandoning xhtml did nobody any favors.

ideally not even json the pages should be in something like cbor where the data trees are all properly framed.

we have incredibly fast SIMD json parsers now but not having to parse is strictly superior.
