:senkohmm: So, Indigo, why are you interested in becoming a teacher?

:ablobcatsweatsip: "Well, It's definitely not because I want to use teaching English in an Asian country as my ticket out of the US before the collapse occurs..."

@Indigo I think most Asian countries are banning the unvaccinated from entering if not banning foreigners entirely right now.

@xianc78 Realistically you're probobly right. I'm mainly thinking long-term through, getting all my shit together and waiting for a window between plandemics to bail before the ship fully sinks.
Failing that, there are some nice parts of South America that I could see myself settling for.

Also, I already had to get jabbed to keep my job (I did't want to do it, but where I live I kinda didn't have a choice).

@Indigo Well hopefully, you won't have to take boosters and any long-term side effects are minimal.

It isn't just plandemics though. The EU is apparently going to ban commercial air travel for a few decades as part of their net zero emissions agenda.

@xianc78 Hopefully, atleast the fact that I'm probobly sterile now doesn't really effect me. :gayfrog:

I don't doubt that, but even if they do try to shut down air travel, there'll always be ways to get across oceans... :blobpirate:

@Indigo Have you read the chart? They also want to restrict sea travel. Granted, it's probably much easier to sea travel illegally than it is to do illegal air travel but still.

As someone who supports the Seasteading movement this really concerns me, as the globalist seem to really want to control the oceans (the only place on Earth that isn't controlled by any nation, besides Antarctica).

@xianc78 They probobly *want* to do a lot of things, but like you said, the ocean's a big place.

It is concerning to be sure though, but not surprising. It probobly didn't matter to them when the impracticality of something like seasteading made it a non-realistic threat to their power, but now that that is slowly changing the powers that be are gonna want to nip the possibility of societies outside their control in the bud.

@Indigo And speaking of break-away societies, DO NOT trust Elon Musk and any of his SpaceX shit. He's just controlled opposition. His grandfather was big into the technocracy movement (really just a failed precursor to The Great Reset shit being pushed on us now) and he has a weird obsession with transhumanism (which isn't necessarily a bad thing but most likely will be if it's forced onto people). I'm getting really sick of people saying that Elon Musk is based.

@xianc78 Oh yeah, I used to be an Elon stan, but it's pretty obvious at this point that he's CO. Nobody gets the kinda M5M coverage he does without selling out in some capacity.

@Indigo It's especially bad for me because my younger brother idolizes him. He really wants to become an aerospace engineer for SpaceX. I told him about this shit but he just scoffs at me like I'm a flat earther.

And I really do like the idea of space colonization, but not with some technocrat like Elon. I'm just hoping that someday we can get open source 3D printable rockets. That will make space travel cheap and affordable to everyone.

@xianc78 I'm not sure about the feasibility of 3D printable rockets, at least not for a few more years and with uh... some assembly required.

You can always remind him that hero worship is unhealthy, when you treat figures you respect as something above human you set yourself up for disappointment when they turn out to be just that.

Although the fact that all my heroes are dead probobly colors my perception some...
