@icedquinn Try making a game with hexagonal tiles and see how difficult it is.
@xianc78 my biggest complaint with that is i didn't understand the math for selecting the tile under a cursor. then i found out i guess neither did Sid Meier because there's a bitmap with magic colors he used to calculate offsets
